 A Trip Down the Memory Lane

Haphazardly I went from the woods of barren land

Seeing the worst of nightmares

The cries of lost fertility crave for freedom

I plead for an Arcadian(idea of life believed to be perfect) town in this fleeting livelihood

Where effervescent(blooming) is nowhere to be seen

Do you remember a place from your childhood, that used to be filled with joy and happiness?

Perhaps lush green lands, gardens blooming with flowers.

Or farms decorated in gold of sunflower or wheat.

That smell of soil after rains.

Wasn't it all so serene.

But with time, it lost all its charms.

The happiness and colours turned dull.

The writer is trying to tell about such a place close to her heart.

The writer says that she came to such a place after a long time and cannot believe what had happened to the wonderful place.

She uneasily went through the place.

Where there used to be tall green trees, now lies a barren land which has nothing but just sand left.

Even in her worst nightmares, she could not imagine that this place, which was the source of livelihood of tireless farmers, is now infertile.

The land now seems to be crying about its lost glory.

The town is filled with nothing but a gloomy silence.

All that the writer wishes is that somehow that old calmness and joy would return in this town which is no longer present.

She wishes somehow the soil turns fertile and the people of the town get back their livelihood and happiness.

She hopes to see this town just like it was during her childhood.

The circus of Life

LIFE AS WE KNOW IT

Hope is no longer the same.

Longing onto seems like a job in vain.

The zeal of living is no longer the same.

Faking it seems like an act in vain.

The beauty of the dreams is no longer the same.

Appreciating it seems like a talk in vain.

The warmth of happiness is no longer the same.

Feeling the aura of it seems like a shot in vain.

Life is full of ups and downs.

 It can take many twists and turns. 

Throughout this journey, hope is the most important thing that stays with. Hope helps us live through tough phases and wait for happy times. 

But how long can one hope? How long can one wait for things to change? 

The writer is trying to express the fight she is fighting within her mind where her hopes of something good happening in life is diminishing fast.

The writer says that her hopes are no longer high. 

She has been holding onto hopes of good times to come for so long but now it all seems vain.

She has been living her life full of passion, full of hopes of great things happening.

 She might be sad, her heart may be heavy but she would carry a smile on her face. 

But now it seems futile.

 It is hard to fake a smile anymore.

She had so many dreams of doing great things in life.

 She had planned great things for herself.

 But now it seems like the world of dreams is crashing down. 

She can no longer talk about its beauty as they are slowly turning into a nightmare.

She was once encircled with happy thoughts. Filled with joy. 

There were once warm feelings in her heart about life. 

But now it is the all cold harsh reality. 

The reality from which she has been trying to run away but she can't. 

The sadness has taken over all the hopes and all her thoughts of happiness are in vain.

You were deaf to my emotions from the start.

Blind to my tears and unaltered by my problems.

This post is one of those posts which need not require much of an explanation. 

The writer's emotions are quite evident from the choice of her words and the flow of the story.

She is a quite expressive personality and not hesitant to speak out what she has in her mind.

Relationships are all about understanding each other, working towards one's feelings.

It's about communicating, sharing and sometimes letting go of one's ego.

But what if all that what it takes for a relationship is missing.

Then is it really a bond?

Is it really a bond worth giving time and energy to?

We all have been in several kinds of relationships in our lives.

Some work beautifully well, but some end up in a dark alley.

We regret each passing day, sometimes we blame ourselves for the mess.

But very few of us really dig deep what could be the reasons for that(Relationship) to end.

Here in this particular post, the writer is introspecting.

Here she is trying to analyze the root cause of her broken relationship.

It was not her. 

Her love was all one could ever wish for.

It was not even the girl whom he cheated with.

It was him. 

It was him from the start.

A sweet Savage Story

She: Hey, wanna try something new?

He: yeah sure, like what?

She: How about being faithful?

I really don't think there is anything unspoken about this particular story. 

It is as clear as still water.

The major thing we expect in our relationships is mere honesty. 

And that little thing is so difficult to find.

I have seen people trying to keep up with the relationships even after getting betrayed.

I understand the fact that love is forgiving, but it's also truthful.

You can't encash your betrayal in the name of the forgiving nature of Love.

Some things aren't worth Forgiving.

Some relationships after a point aren't even worth.

For me, Betrayal of any form is not something that should be given a second chance no matter how strong the love is.

Do something for yourself and get out of it.

And it's a totally right thing to do.

There is no scope of forgiveness in betrayal.
