To the judgemental self and The judgemental world

I hone the way I learn and speak
Can you judge me by the number of languages I speak?

I carve my path by bushes and flowers
Can you doubt my intelligence by the choices I keep?

I admire the beauty of the beast
Can you criticise me for the verses I preach?

I burn my soul to keep the world in light
Can you still call me soul of the night?

Unspoken Words

This poem is dedicated to
The judgemental self
And
The judgemental world

I learn daily
I win daily
I lose daily
I fight daily
I cry daily

Can you judge me?
Can you figure all out?

No, you can’t
Especially
No, you shouldn’t

“I hone the way I learn and speak
Can you judge me by the number of languages I speak?”

I learn
I grow
I hone my skills
Can you give me a name
Give my personality a name
Give my belief a name

Just by the variety of languages, I am able to speak

“I carve my path by bushes and flowers
Can you doubt my intelligence by the choices I keep?”

I have different opinions
Different approaches
I don’t carve my path by tools
I use fragile bushes and flowers to carve the path made of stones

“I admire the beauty of the beast
Can you criticise me for the verses I preach?”

I find beauty in the dark places
I find beauty in the stillness of the night
I find beauty in the eyes or expressions of the beast
Can you criticise me for my idea of beauty?

“I burn my soul to keep the world in light
Can you still call me the soul of the night?”

I love unconditionally
I love uncritically
But people come and go in life.
I am here with you today.
But I may not stay tomorrow.
Would still trust me to be there with you for this moment.

A Reflection of You

TheTiny Aspects of life
Tiny aspects of life

Who are you in this world?
As small as the dust particle
Or
As Huge as the oceans

What is yours in this world?
The mere money that you yearn
Or
The lessons that you learn

What pleases you in this world?
The stillness of a lake
Or
A deep red cherry on a big vanilla cake

What scares you the in this world?
The warmth on a mean face
Or
The dullness on a child’s face

What triggers you in this world?
A poke in your emotions
Or
Faith in God and devotion!

Have you ever thought about this beautiful life? It’s purpose.
What makes you happy?
What makes you sad?
 What is your true calling?
The writer is asking questions to herself and wants you to ask yourself these questions.

There comes a time in life when we all need to introspect.
We need to ask ourselves who we truly are?
What defines us?
What drives us?

What do we think of ourselves?
A small, invisible dust that is there but neglected by all.
Or are we like a large ocean, filled with emotions and thoughts, that cares for the entire world.

What really matters to us?
The money, the power, name and fame. Or the knowledge.
 The invaluable lessons in life.
To live and let others live.
 To be a giver.
To contribute to the growth and nourishment of the world.

What makes us happy?
The beauty of nature.
The hills, the lake, green gardens, the wonder that the world is.
Or is the man-made pieces if attraction. Things that give us pleasure.
But short-lived.

What hurts us the most?
People being mean, rude or betraying us.
Or is it the children of this world who miss their childhood.

What drives you to live and enjoy your life?
Your will to succeed.
Your desire to fulfil every dream.
To prove to everyone what you can do.
Or is it your faith in God.
 Faith in humanity.
Your perseverance to make the world a better place to live.

The real Shadow of you

The  Dark recesses of my Heart

The Dark recesses of Heart

In the corners of my heart.

I have seen a different shadow of me.

A diminishing timid picture of me.
A soul trying to reach out to someone.
A will trying to open up to someone.
A hope to let go that sinking feeling I have been holding onto for so long.
An urge to be able to express more.
An inexplicable thought behind the deepest sorrows I hold.

I write several things, be it shayris, poems, quotes, thought of the day, life situations I face on day to day basis.
This particular poem is my most prized possession.
I really don't know why but I feel connected to it.
It reflects me.
I had the same kind of thoughts a while back
and

Sometimes

I get them now as well.
This poem truly shows the dark recesses of my heart.
I have no shame in admitting that I feel like that.
There is really nothing wrong in feeling lost at some point.
Many of us go through that kind of phases.
This particular poem is self-explanatory.
It is very difficult for her to express why she has all those feelings.
She is sinking into her own thoughts and sadness.
She lives in a world which has been mean to her.
She has been betrayed in her life so it is difficult for her to trust someone again.
Betrayal leaves scars which are difficult to heal.

The power of Positivity

A poem to Mend Broken Hearts

The poem to mend broken Hearts

The blend of light is coming through me
The light of hope with a will to live once again
To love once again
To dance in the rain
To let go of all the pain
The thought of blooming flowers in my backyard is once again enlightening my soul
To crave once again
To feel the wind once again
To open up to someone once again

Unspoken Words

Blend of light...

We go through several phases in life.
 Good and bad.
Good ones bring us joys while the sad ones are harsh but teach valuable lessons in life.
The writer is telling about how she overcame a bad phase in her life.
She thought there will be darkness in her life forever.
She thought she could never be happy in life again.
But now she can feel a new positive energy within herself. She has a new will to live life and explore the good side of it. She used to think that she could never be happy, will never be able to enjoy the beauty of life or feel loved again.

But now she wants to feel all the happiness.
She wants to enjoy the rains.
She was to experience the beauty of the world, the beauty of this nature.
She wants to forget about the pain she has been through.
A mere thought of good things happening in her life again excites her heart.
She is filled with a new hope.
She wants to dream more.
She wants to feel happiness again.
She wants to break out of the invisible shell in which she had confined herself and wants to share her happiness with others.

The Power vested in You

Believe in Yourself

White crisp pages of worthiness.

A page
had one blemished yellowish tinge.

Tinge of worthlessness present within you.

For you.
About you.

The lifeless you.

Tear that page out.

And add a new crisp white page.

Because you deserve it.

You are worthy of everything.

I didn't find anything unspoken about this particular post.
This one is self-explanatory and filled with good vibes.
It asks us to believe in oneself, it asks us to never undermine your worth.
It is high time you say goodbye to the little worthlessness you feel for yourself.
The self-doubt you hold, the lack of confidence present in your sub-conscious mind.
Add a new crisp white page to your life.
Begin each day with a bright smile on your face and courage to deal with the world.
World mends ways for the ones who are worth.
No matter how hard life gets, on should never let go of one's self-sufficiency.

Hey, guys, I am really sorry for not being active from past one week.
My travel plans are hampering the frequency of my posts.
I will try to work on it.
Please keep reading, I am sure none of you will be disappointed.

Unheard Truths of Life

What is life. What is the purpose of life. What happens after life. Mere thought about these questions can be spin chilling. This poem is trying to capture this

Noise of hymns, I hear.
Shadows of the past, I have seen.
Ranting of souls, I wonder.
Rumbling of clear water, I fear.
Ethereal blossom of the dead, I smell.
Epiphany about mere existence, I Honor.

Unspoken Words

What is life?
What is the purpose of life?
What happens after life. Mere thought about these questions can be spine-chilling.
The writer is thinking about these questions and expressing the emotional rollercoaster ride as these questions come to mind.

We hear so many songs, about love, about God, about life.
But do they really mean anything or is it just noise.
We make uncountable memories in our life.
I remember sweet memories of childhood.
I can think about those times but never relive it.
Every person has some inner desires.
Some dreams and passions, which they wanted to fulfil but could never do.
Is it because they didn't do enough or is it because it was never meant to happen.
Who knows.
Sometimes everything looks so beautiful yet feels surreal.
Everything goes smooth. Yet I fear something might spoil this moment.
Is it a calm before storm.
Everything seems beautiful, but then you never know what bad might happen.
If life has a beginning ..it will certainly have an end.
But it is up to us how we live. We can make life happy journey for ourselves and others.
We can stay content with what we get or regret about unfulfilled dreams.
It doesn't matter how we live it.
Everything will end some day. And nobody knows the other side of it.

Tiny Little Things In life which excite me

This particular poem as the title suggests is trying to illuminate the tiny little things that excite me in life. Sometimes the value of the worldly pleasures diminishes and we get inclined to more natural things in life. Things which truly have the capabilities of touching your soul and triggers your mind.

The sweet Florals of the night delight me.
The warmth of my favorite sweater pleases me.
The melody of my windchime soothes me.
The beauty of my handmade notebook mesmerizes me.
The sound of temple bells ruminate me.

Unspoken Words

This particular poem as the title suggests is trying to illuminate the tiny little things that excite me in life.
Sometimes the value of the worldly pleasures diminishes and we get inclined to more natural things in life.
Things which truly have the capabilities of touching your soul and triggers your mind.
The basic things can give us immense joy which money can't buy.
In this poem, I have tried to capture the few things which have a great impact on my life.

The sweet mild fragrance of the flowers which blossom during the dark delight my soul.

The warmth of my favorite comfy black sweater pleases my body and soul.

The engaging fairly distinct pitches of my windchime soothe me.

The charm of my wood-carved notebook delights me.

The sound of morning prayers and temple bells meditates me.

The Impossible

I hear strange voices in an empty room, filled with feelings.
I feel the cold breeze in a warm desert.
I have been to places where starlight mingles with a fully cloudy sky.
I have looked at the afternoon sun with bare eyes.
I feel the airs of heaven in this cruel sky.
I have witnessed the heart of gold with a wicked smile.

The Unspoken Words

This particular poem is really close to my heart.
In this poem as the title says the writer is trying to experience the "IMPOSSIBLE".
The above statement is an irony in itself.
The poet is in a zone of Uncertainty and unattainability.
Every line of this poem is contradictory to the world.
She has heard voices in a room where no one is present.
She has felt a draft of cold air of in a hot desert.
When the sky is fully cloudy there is no scope of stars or starlight but here poet has been to such places.
Such statement is a contradiction to itself.
You can never look at the bright afternoon sun with your bare eyes again "Impossible".
The poet claims that she has experienced heaven in this cruel world.
And last but not the least, the biggest irony of all
witnessed a person so genuine and pure basically a gem
with a "wicked" smile.
